A little fun in your outfit (specially for the holidays)

 

Ik ben helemaal vóór een beetje ´fun´ (of een grapje) in een outfit, zijn deze items daarvoor niet super leuk? Loafers met hartjes van 'Pretty Ballerina's', een zijden shawl met winterse stads-print van 'Moschino' evenals het mega-schattige jurkje en een strikjes-usb stick van 'Kate Spade'. I love it!

Combineer alles samen om een beetje, nouja veel, fun toe te voegen aan je outfit en zie er nog steeds stijlvol uit!

 

How fun are all these items? Loafers with hearts from 'Pretty Ballerina's', scarf with city print from 'Moschino' even as that supercute dress, and a bowtie-usb stick by 'Kate Spade'. I love it! Combine them together to add a little, well actually, loads of fun and still look classy!

Winterlook

Hoe combineer je 'trend'-items zoals een leren legging, een cape, loafers en truien met versieringen tot een tijdloze en chique look? Eigenlijk precies zoals hierboven! Kies voor verschillende materialen van een hoge kwaliteit zoals leer, cashmere en suède. Voeg eventueel een (knal)kleurtje toe aan die typische winterkleuren zwart en grijs, het maakt je outfit net wat interessanter.

How to incorporate on ´trend´ items like leather pants, a cape, loafers and embellishments and still look timeless and chic? Well, just like this. Choose different materials/fabrics from a high quality like leather, cashmere and suede. Add a pop of color to your typical winter colors like black and grey, it does make your outfit a little bit more interesting.

Trend; de cashmere jas (of cape?)

Ik spotte de camelkleurige jas vorige week, tijdens mijn laatste werkweekje, bij Massimo Dutti en kwam ook de Zara- en online de Bijenkorf (merk: Joseph) versies tegen. Een nieuwe trend misschien? Wat zijn ze mooi, stijlvol en tijdloos van ontwerp deze 'jassen' ,die ook een beetje voor cape of vest door kunnen gaan. De 'Joseph'-jas is van cashmere, het Massimo Dutti model bevat een percentage cashmere en verder wol en de Zara versie bestaat uit een mix van wol met viscose en polyester (wat ook tot uiting komt in de bijbehorende prijzen). De samenstelling maakt de jassen niet helemaal geschikt voor de winter (want wol wordt nat en zwaar) maar perfect voor het aankomende (tussen)seizoen, mits het niet te veel regent..

I came accros the middle-coat during my last workweek (last week) at Massimo Dutti and found the Zara and Bijenkorf-versions later on. A new trend maybe? These coats are definately pretty, classy and timeless pieces, which also could be used as cardigan or cape. The first one is made of pure cashmere, while the Massimo Dutti version is made of wool and a percentage cashmere. The Zara-coat is made of wool and viscose which shows in the price obviously. De compositions of the coats make them not suitable for winter (wool gets 'wet' and heavy) but perfect for in-between-seasons, if it won't rain offcourse....
