Baby boy.

        Baby boy.

Baby girl.

        Baby girl.

Since close friends of ours are pregnant with their first one, I've got inspired to do a 'baby' post. There are so(!) many cute baby clothes and accoiries out there, this is a complete new world to me. I would love to become a mommy myself one day, but for now I'm also very happy for my friend/our friends and can't wait to be a cool aunt!
So, what do you think of this first post (the girls version)?

Favorite videos - June 2015

I've done a few posts on 'favorite youtube-videos', or my favorite youtube-vloggers/bloggers. But here's a little update! I really love watching different videos on Youtube from make-up tutorials to DIY projects or house-renovations. What is your favorite subject in youtube-videos? Or do you have any vloggers or youtube-channels you like to follow or have a look at in a daily basis?

Here are a few videos I've recently watched (and really enjoyed)! Hope you'll love them too!

  Bedroom decoration.
and here's another one.

  Make-up tutorials.
This one is by my favorite MUA; Lauren Curtis.
And last but not least, one more:
Can you tell I like elegant, soft make-up looks?

  DIY.

  Work out routine.

The English Roses (Happy Costumers)

We've sold another one of our beautifully handmade-tables. Here's a picture we've received from a happy costumer. Don't you love it?
Two more dinner-tables are already ordered for jan. 2015!

Forest Chair (I know, something totally different)

When I was in The Hague visiting a museum in Schevingen and shopping with my mommy and aunt, we came accros this 'brand' in a store. And I fell in love imediately with these forest inspired furniture and interior-accessories. A bit (well, much) above my budget but so(!) pretty! It would look good in different interiors, from something really classic to a more modern loft. This collection is called 'The Forest Leaf Collection' and the artist got it's inspiration from different textures around the world.
Here's what Michael Aram, the American artist/designer says about the collection; "I believe everybody has an emotional response when they see natural objects. They are part of all of us. I imagine coming across this chair in the middle of the forest, growing right out of the ground, perhaps a bird or a leaf resting on it. It has such a strong sense of the natural world but for me."

The special thing about these items is that they are actually natural twigs casted in polished aluminum.

The English Roses

What do you guys think of our new logo? My boyfriend and I just started our (new) company. We make and sell wooden tables in 'Queen Ann' style (here and here). Besides that style we really like the classic 'English style' from Burberry trench coats to Laura Ashley pillows. And with my love for peonies we just had to pick 'The English Roses' as the name for our company.
Our logo was created thanks to www.brandsupply.nl were you can create a competition for designers (from logos to websites). The best part of creating a competition like that is you get a lot of entries and different styles. Way more than when you just hire 1 design agency.

We really like a soft and romantic kind of style, classic style furniture, lots of white and a few touches of soft pink. Hopefully our company will grow a lot in the future because we would love to expand our (future) shop with re-done vintage furniture and small romantic home accessoiries.

Chairs

I love these chairs in our home! We bought them 1,5jr ago at a vintage store near Antwerp. I have no clue whether they are antiques but they are really beautiful, I like they old-pink upholstery. I've wanted to paint the frame (more white or even gold), but maybe I won't.

What do you think about our chess-table? We got that one as a present from my parents-in-law. And what about that 'vase'? That's an old champagne-cooler by Piper-Heidsieck (estimated 50jrs old) wich my sweet sweet brother gave us. I think champagne-cooler makes the coolest vases!

Clean house

           Clean house
I got inspired by the post on Lauren Conrad's blog. If you like it, I'll do a follow up in the same style! Good luck creating your own schedule and keeping your house perfectly clean. What's better than a nice, cosy and clean (!) place?!!

On the wishlist, always.

What's an item you've been wanting forever? This is one of mine, the Ghost Chair by Philippe Starck. I think it would fit perfect between our floral-vintage chairs. Like I said before, i love to mix and match vintage and design. Because they're see trough they would fit in almost every interior.
