Mothers day gift guide.

       Happy Mothersday!
In need of some inspiration? Here's a little gift guide! I think home-made goodies or anything home-baked would be great as well. Other options are; a great (special) wine or even a wine-tasting, a framed picture or piece of art. Just buy (or make) something special that makes her feel appreciated!

Happy Mothersday!

Follow Friday... The Classy Cubicle

Can you say 'hi there new style-icon'? That's what I did after finding this tumbler adress. What a beautiful girl and what gorgeous outfits (!) and all totally office-appropriate (that's also her motto). See, that's what I like!
It's not that hard too look good in a red-carpet dress, but how about an outfit that you can actually wear in your day-to-day (working) life? It doesn't always have to be the highest heels (I'm blaming you SATC, The City, and Suits).
Get inspired by Mary from The Classy Cubicle.

Here are a few of my favorite looks:

New bag!

When I came from work my mommy and niece were having coffee in a small café and I decided to stop by. But first I did a small pitstop at two stores and I scored this cute bag for only €8,99! I think it's a classy bag and I love this color for fall.

Dress for less

Thinking about ordering this grey basic dress with a twist (literally:-). Looking good doesn't have to be expensive (€29,95)!

Jackets & Blazers oh my... (budget buy)

I love nice jackets/blazers, they can give your (simple) outfit an instant upgrade from plain to classy or glamorous. I like to wear them with jeans or a jersey dress. What do you think of this real cutie? Such a steal for only €35,98, right?! Buy it here.

Blue

Deep dark blue, what a beautiful classy color for a dress like this! They sell it in black as well, but honestly I thought that one is kind of boring. Hopefully this dress will come in one of these days (obviously I ordered it already), I'm very curious if it's just as pretty in real life. I'm looking forward to styling it with different shoes and accessories and I might be wearing it to a wedding.

Dress(es) like a Royalty!

Have you enjoyed all of Kate Middletons' fashion looks from the past Australia/ New Zealand tour (and offcourse her adorable baby and husband)? I for sure did! She truly is a style icon, so graceful and beautiful.
If you like to dress like a royalty as well, here's a list of items things you should consider:
- dresses should not be too short (knee or small inches above is perfect) and not too long unless you're going to a gala/charity/premiere etc.;
- know what colors suit you and try not to use too many colors in one outfit (colour blocking is not for us royals);
- every girl should one a few gorgeous shift dresses or wrap dresses, a pair of nude pumps, a simple striped shirt, some summer wedges and a dark blue jeans;
- if you know what your perfect make-up look is, you can stick to that. But always make sure your hair matches your outfit (updo's to special events) and is shiny and healthy;
- better too matchy-matchy than mix & match different styles in to one outfit. Only one print should draw the attention;
- know your dresscodes and show respect with your outfit (and attitude). Skull prints or mini-skirts are a big no no.
- offcourse you do not have to spend millions, after all Kate wears Zara or vintage as well!
This dress would be perfect with a purple cardigan (cashmere?) or a blazer that matches the beige/creme.
I heard you're actually not alowed to wear open toe shoes to any royal event (or in any palace) but they do match the dress perfectly. Princess Kate wears open toe wedges, so it seems ok to deviate from this rule.
